To have a Canadian Identity means that everyone is treated equal, and has the freedom to speak and say their opinion. All eligible citizens can vote. When I think of every single country in the world only one country can match the phrases above, it’s Canada. If you live in Canada you know that every citizen here has a valuable voice. Every voice here matters. One of the many ways citizens have a voice is through the practice of democracy. You have the right to run for office and have a right to vote. Eligible citizens are encouraged to vote, no matter their race, gender, or ethnicity. Every voice makes a difference.
