To examine the relationship between Xennials, Millennials and Generation Z with level of narcissism and resilience adjoin it with the previous researches which are done on different generations with level of resilience and narcissism. The statistical analysis has proven that the relationship of Xennials with resilience is mild positive and with the narcissism is mild negative. The relationship of Gen Z with narcissism is mild negative and with resilience is mildly positive. The relationship between Millennials and resilience is positive and between Millennials and narcissism is negative. It has also proved by previous researches that relation of different generations with resilience and narcissism is either positive or negative. Some generations have positive relation with narcissism and some have negative similarly some generations have positive relation with resilience and some have negative. The first hypothesis meant to observe the relationship between Milliennials and level of narcissism, which is proved by the research of Christian Jarred.

He did research on Millennials and proved that Millennials work for the betterment of the world and of the people. They devote themselves for the good of society and feel pride on their work(Christian Jarred, 2017). Jean twinge also work on the level of narcissism and resilience in different generation and discovered that relationship exist between Millennials and narcissism but she prove that narcissism level is high in Millennials and resilience is low(Jean Twenge, 2013).

Later other researchers oppose the view of Jean Twenge and prove that narcissism level is low in Millennials. Millennials work sincerely and considered themselves responsible for their work. He believe that those who work for others are never be narcissist (Carrie skowronski, 2016).

Early researches on narcissism has done through NPI scale and the meaning of their items change with the passage of time so the level of narcissism may decrease or increase over time (Brent Robert, 2010). The statistical analysis of this study shown that Millennials have low negative relation with narcissism in which the value of r=-.099 which support the study of Christain Jarred as well. The second hypothesis states the relationship between Gen Z and the level of resiliency on which different researches have done. Gen Z is the generation that used internet and other technology in early age.

They considered self as an independent. A study done in 2014 on college students found that Gen Z college student considered him/herself as being loyel , responsible, and open minded and see their peers different from self. In 2017 a study conducted on Gen Z and found that due to much usage of social media the generation z people feel depressed and alone due to which they behave aggressively all the time and cannot deal with stressful situations.

A research conducted on 10,000 families from 2010 -2015. The researchers examine children of the age 10 -15 years. After examining the children the researchers conclude that the use of social media increase with age that some time cause decreased in self-esteem and in emotional stability (university of essexe). The previous researches show that Gen z has mild level of resilience. The reason is themore usageof social media and mostly they are dependent on technology. This study support the 2014 study which is done on college student and prove that Gen Z have mild level of resiliency. In this study the value of r= .343 which show the resiliency level in Gen Z.

The third hypothesis state that Millinneals are more narcissist than Gen z, adjoin it with the previous researches in which one of the psychologist Neil Paterson told that Millennials are less narcissistic. From his research he conclude that average level of narcissism is decreased with the passage of time (Neil Paterson, 2017). Another researcher said that Millennials are more narcissist than other generations (Jean twinge, 2013). Christian jarred oppose the view of jean twinge and conclude that Millennials are less narcissist because they do work for the good of people. They do their work by themselves without the help of any oneelse (Christian jarred, 2017). The statistical analysis of this study concludes that Millennials are more narcissist than generation z and Xennials which support the view of Jean twinge.

In this study the value of r= -.009 which show the level of narcissism in Millennials. The fourth hypothesis claims that Gen Z aremore resilient than Millennials. From the studies of previous researchers it conclude that resiliency exist in every generation but their level is increase or decrease. However different studies suggest that Millennials are the generation that can cope with stress full situation and Generation Z can cope sometime. Generation Z are dependent on their parents and their parents remove hurdles that they have faced (Cowan, 2014). Generation Z are the most open minded people and use social media more than other generations. They learn a lot from social media and can cope better with any situation (Prof.

Ian Duncan, Greendale CC, 2012). This study reveals that Generation Z are more resilient and Millennials are less resilient. The data collected from different people about the level of resiliency in these three generation and when statistical analysis run on this data then the value of r = .

343 in generation z and in Millennial r = .292 comes. Which means that they both have mild positive relation with resilience. The fifth hypothesis state that Xenniels are less narcissist than Gen Z. It is proved from the researches of different psychologists (like Jean Twinge, Coyle, Jarred). These psychologist believe that Xennials are the early generation that are less narcissist than the young generation and Millennials. Xennials are the generation who spent their early life without using computer or any other social media.

They consider themselves too confident (Kim Mackenzie). While Generation Z are mostly independent decision maker and have low self confidence (Prof. Ian Duncan, 2012). Grubbs believe that the term narcissist have an effect on the attitude, behaviour and mental health of the people (Grubbs, 2017). The results of this study shown that Xennials are less narcissist than Millennials and little more narcissist than Generation Z.

The relationship of the Xennials with narcissism is low positive and the relationship of the Generation Z with narcissism is mild negative. The analysis that is run on the data of narcissism in Xennials and Generation Z show that Xennials are less narcissist generation. The value of r that comes from the statistical analysis of this study is r = -.039 ( Xennial r value) and r = -.061 (Gen Z r value). The sixth hypothesis is related to age and narcissism which is ‘age have an impact on the level of narcissism’.

Many researches are done on the topic of narcissism and age and noted that age have an impact on the narcissistic tendencies and bring changes in the role of individuals (Wheelock, 1997). Wheelock also told that these changes can cause ”narcissistic injury”(Wheelock, 1997). The change in role and tendencies may cause a lack of independence and responsibility (Danko et.

al, 2009). Some researchers thus suggest that narcissism decrease with age. As age increase the level of narcissism decrease and vice versa. Simultaneously it decrease self-attention and ego when age increase (Battegay and Mullejans, 1992). Kalliopuska described that low level of narcissism leading to the feelings of loneliness and isolation (Kalliopuska, 2000). A study noted that middle aged people have high level of narcissism than older aged people. The study of Gregory L. Carter and Melanie D.

Douglass suggest that age is negatively related with narcissism (Gregory L. carter and Melanie D. Douglass). The statistical analysis of this study also suggest that narcissism is negatively related with age. This study also proves that narcissism is negatively related with all three generations.

This study prove that as age increase level of narcissism decrease that support the previous researches. The effect of age on the sub categories of narcissism is different. The total r value of age on narcissism is r = -.108 and their sub category values of r are; age group have mild negative relation with authority and their r value is r = -.079, with self-sufficiency is mild positive i-e r = .042, with superiority is mild negative i-e r = -.175, with exhibition is mild negative i-e r = -.

128, with exploitativness has almost no relationship i-e r = .004, with vanity is very low positive relation i-e r = .024, with entitlement is also low positive relationship i-e r = .

063. so the effect of age on narcissism is different and is sometime negative and sometime positive. The seventh and last hypothesis state that age has an impact on the level of resilience. Researchers suggest that increase in resilient factor such as self-esteem is dependent on age. Some studies confirm that self-esteem is lower in young people. Other researches confirm as age increase self-esteem decrease.

Some researches that has been conducted on few last years noted that there is a significant relationship between people’s resiliency, their environment, their mental health, their well-being, and in their age group (Garmezy et.al, 1984, Luther, 2003). Some studies suggested that resilience does not decline with age, older people are as resilient as younger people (Gooding et.al, 2012). To support the view of Gooding et.al the statistical analysis of this study also suggest that as age increase resilience increase which means that age have positive impact on resilience.

The result of this study suggests that with the increase of age the level of resiliency increase. The statistical analysis of this study show the value of r is r = .264 which means that age has positive relationship with resilience. It shows that resilience and age have positively related with each other. In all these the study simply conclude that age are negatively related with narcissism and positive related with resilience. The narcissism is also negatively related with all three generations and resilience is positively related with these three generations.
