There is no doubt that water, sanitation and hygiene are substances of survival, and death during the whole of the human evolution historical. The capabilities of access water, hygiene and sanitation are centre issue that human have to face and address as soon as possible. Governments play a central role in guaranteeing access to water, sanitation and hygiene, but this mission cannot be accomplished without private sectors.
Thus, providing approach to fresh water is not any more as a charitable act, which is an element of corporate social responsibility (CSR) of companies. Additionally, companies, associations, groups can reinforce their corporate social responsibility policies and reasonable programmes, commit operation approaching the UN Sustainable Development Goals and accompany life-saving dirt-free water, appropriate toilets as well as superior hygiene to the globe’s low living standard. This paper will analyse the positive effect on economic and social communities of the implementation of CSR policy focus on assisting to access clean water, sanitation and hygiene. Dalsgaard, Konradsen, Samuelsen and Rheinlander (2010, p. 994) doubt that “improving sanitation and hygiene to prevent infectious diseases is of high priority in developing countries”.
In 1961, Ho Chi Minh was the president of Vietnam, who gave a phrase “maintain very good hygiene”to all schools in Vietnam and hygiene have placed a top community priority on government, businesses and population in all over Vietnam. In 1999, the national programme for countryside water and sanitation with a part of fund raised from many businesses and private companies focused on improving environmental health. Unfortunately, researchers were done by official shown that 71% of the eastern resident had no or below standard pit latrines and only eighteen percent had secured water supplies chain (Dalsgaard, Konradsen, Samuelsen and Rheinlander 2010, p.
995). This is because: living primarily in rural highlands and mountainous regions of Vietnam, low living standard, low incomes, lifestyles… Poor hygiene and sanitation lead to many health problems. Particularly, “the burden of hygiene-related diseases is also particularly high in the northern region with high levels of diarrhoea, helminth and trachoma infections”(Dalsgaard, Konradsen, Samuelsen and Rheinlander 2010, p. 995.). However, with the contribution of businesses’ corporate social responsibility (CSR) policies, goverment’s hygiene policies and lot of training hygiene advocates together made a positive change in hygiene and sanitation practices in rural area of northern Vietnam by constructing clean water supply chain, sanitation facilities, offering financial or hardware subsidies. As a result, the prevention of hygiene related diseases changed more effective by promoting hygiene behaviour. To illustrate, in 2015, the project “Mizuiku – We Love Clean Water” ( Mizuiku – Em yêu n??c s?ch) was held by the Suntory Group, Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam, which provided more opportunities for ethnic minorities to access clean water.

html;jsessionid=8a7Mq2Q0dpof9OO8XZdtZ7+e.app2 The World Health Organisation has assessed that acquire to fresh, safe water and sanitation could moderate the international infection burden by approximate 10% (Hall, N., Shannon, C.
and Jagals, P. 2016, para 17), and largely contributes to reach that result belong to not only governments, but CSR useful policies of companies also take responsibilities. It is true that widespread approach to water, sanitation and hygiene can be impossible reached if there is no support of companies via CSR policies. Moreover, one of the fundamental factors to business growth is the provision of clean water. Greig, H., Ha, M. and Traubel, S. (2015) researched that over a past decade, almost a quarter of more than 1,050 companies published that problems about water could minimize their business advancement.
To comparison, Greig, H., Ha, M. and Traubel, S.
(2015) indicated that The World Health Organisation has calculated that for each $1 spent on sanitation, the commercial advantages range from $3.10-$16.60 by maintaining people healthy and productive.
As a result, there are decline absence without leave and the gross revenue of supply chain employers, increase in manufacture quality and efficiently, positive contributing to total economic development (Greig, H., Ha, M. and Traubel, S. 2015). Thus, to maximize benefits and minimize risks, investigate in CSR policies is a practical method for all companies. In conclusion, implementing a CSR policy which encourages accessing water, sanitation and hygiene would be beneficial to the economy and community. A decrease in the burden of hygiene related diseases and increase in production quality and productivity are the two main benefits. Reference list Hall, N.

socscimed.2010.06.014Refection When I started to write this summary, I read again the integrative summary structure in ilearn to understand the question of this summary, but I weren’t sure I understood right question, then I asked my friend about that question and she confirmed that it is right. After that, I started search sources related to my topic. Fortunately, when I confused with a plenty of resources which I found on Google, Mr Reza guided us many useful tools to find materials without waste time to read many sources irrelevant. Then, I met a trouble to begin my summary, I did not know how to write introduction.
However, Mr Reza gave me some useful advices, for example, he made some model introduce sentences for me, and I began to have some clearly ideas in my mind, then I directly made a plan for my summary. Next, I recognized that the first body paragraph was too long and quite not direct to thesis, I read 1st body paragraph again many times and tried ti fix it, but honestly I felt unsatisfied with its whole length. Then, Mr Reza helped me check my reference list, I realized that I wrote wrong way and I fixed them according to his’s assistances.
Finally, I wrote my summary by my own, I used others’ideas and rewrote by my words such as change word form, use synonyms, change active or passive to passive or active sentences.
