“There are many types of wellness in life, for example physical, emotional, and social. It takes tons of self-respect, self care, and self-control. Which can be accessed by different persons, achieved in different ways, and developed and drawn out in other areas of their lives” (R.T, 1992). In order for us to become well, we need to be productive and work on physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, and social wellness topics.
most people think Physical wellness is how they are feeling such as, whether they are sick, tired, or injured. According to R.T, he defines the ability to perform daily activities in a safe efficient manner, as well as physical capacity to respond effectively in need of situations. R.T also talks about the five physical components such as a cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and muscular endurance, body composition, and flexibility.
If a person doesn’t have a physical wellness routine then it can put them at huge risk of a lifestyle disease such as diabetes and obesity. Doing these things can make a person have a higher quality of life because it improves your mood, boost your energy,and helps you sleep better. Not only can it improve your lifestyle, it can approve your health by reducing your chance for multiple diseases.
A good general goal for everyone to aim for is 30 minutes of physical activity a day in order to mention the qualities mentioned above. Physical wellness is an important factor of overall well being.
