There are many art movements like cubism and futurism…and one of them is surrealism, which I decide to write about it in this report.Surrealism background:Surrealism it’s an art from the world of imagination which is not real, its top known for visual artworks. He studies art, poetry and mathematics. His artistic journey began after he went to Paris and met with 2 artists: Picasso, Magritte and Miró. His famous painting was (The persistence of memory, 1931) it presents some clocks are melting and it’s the most popular part in the painting, he was inspired by melting camembert cheese. There is a combination between a hard and soft which is perplexing and in the same time it’s interesting to look at this painting. Furthermore, the slopes of Cataquez that is where Dali is from Catalonia.
