The moment I stepped onto my high school graduation realizing that the real world was on the other side where life all depends on me, anxiety kicked in. College was around the corner and it wasn’t an obligation to continue my education but a choice I decided to make. There are many reasons why college became a choice, for example, I come from hard working parents who didn’t get the chance to finish their education but instead were put to work at a young age.
So for that reason, I look forward to making them proud. High school was a great experience in many ways, such as bad but mostly great ones. Honestly I was not the best student during my high school years, there were times I wanted to give up and took the wrong steps but I always made sure I stayed positive and looking forward to the future.
