This report provides an extensive analysis of the Everest simulation experience in relation to important management concepts which includes decision making, discernment, empathy and communication. Students are allocated random roles in a group to work together in overcoming challenges and working as a team. In addition, each student is assigned with individual roles and specific individual goals to accomplish. Overall, students are faced with the ultimate goal of team achievement while avoiding been rescued on the mountain. The challenges faced by team members during the game are prediction of weather accurately in some camps, oxygen scarcity and unstable health conditions. The the chances of been rescue resulting in the members not been able to reach the summit.
Specifically, the report examines the role of leadership, team work in task accomplishment, team satisfaction, conflict resolution and communication.Furthermore, the need to avoid communication barriers through fluctuating medium, cohesive and coherent team work and a democratic leadership style is examined throughout the report
