Maynilad serves as the water and wastewater provider for the seventeen municipalities and cities in the West Zone of Metro Manila. The west zone part of Manila include Caloocan, Cavite, Las Piñas, Makati, Malabon, Manila, Muntinlupa, Navotas, Paranaque, Pasay, and Valenzuela.Maynilad is under a Concession Agreement with the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System or MWSS, they are managed by Maynilad Water Holding Company, Inc. which is a joint venture between DMCI Holdings, Inc. (DMCI), Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC), and Marubeni Corporation.
Maynilad serves their customers with piped-in water supply which is safe and fit for drinking, bathing, cooking and other household activities. It follows the Philippine National Standards for Drinking Water of the Department of Health. The Company also serves sewerage in Caloocan, Projects 7 and 8 in Quezon City, Malabon, Navotas, Sampaloc, Tondo, South Manila, Magallanes Village in Makati, and parts of Muntinlupa. The Company also has a pool of technical experts that deliver services in the areas of hydraulic modelling, water loss reduction, supply and pressure management, Geographic Information System development, wastewater management, project management, and water and wastewater sampling and laboratory analysis, among other technical services.
Maynilad offers three services to their customers:a. Water – water is safe and fit for drinking, bathing, cooking and other household activities.b. Sewerage services to its customers – they make drainage for the waste waterc. the Septage – excrete wastes from the septic tanks
