was born on January 15, 1929, in Atlanta Georgia, the second child of Martin Luther King Sr., a pastor, and Alberta Williams King, a former schoolteacher. At a very young age, Dr.King had experienced racism in many forms and was not able to stay friends with this white boy that he met.
Dr.King attended segregated public schools and at the age of 15 was admitted to Morehouse college and studied Medicine and Law,then he enrolled in a graduate program at Boston University, completing his coursework in 1953 and earning a doctorate in systematic theology two years later.After college Dr.
King started a family with his wife Coretta Scott King which he met in college. Coretta Scott and Dr.King had four children soon after College.During this time a women by the name of Rosa Parks would not give up her seat. When Dr.King found out about this, he decided to make a stand and instantly got arrested.Three days later Dr.King was bailed out of prison by a white baptist.After this Dr.King was the leader of the Civil Right Movement and helped thousands of people make a stand for equal rights.in Washington D.C., Dr King gave his famous “i have a dream speech”which over 200,000 people witness Martin Luther King Jr is a huge inspiration to many people around the globe because of what change he wanted to make not just for him, for all of us.towards the end of 1968, Dr King’s life ended as well.More and more things have happened in this world because of one man when others said it was impossible.
