Arthur Miller’s All My Sons competently depicts these two distinct ideas. This paper attempts to show how Joe Keller’s fate is followed by his actions and ambitions as a result of his faulty American dream. It explains how the twentieth-century modern Americans failed to comprehend the true spirit of American dream and how they were misrepresented by the capitalists like Joe Kellers. All My Sons validates that man can avoid responsibility but fate. Joe Keller denied his responsibility but could not escape his fate. Action fixes either sorrow or happiness in every life. Nobody can flee from his result of action and this result confirms the fate.
