Drama movies are becoming more audacious in their choice of topics because social problems make the audience more critical. They are serious presentations portraying realistic characters current life situations with which people can identify. some movies will try to show an specific subject such as the life of a person or a group of people but drama movies have become more gutsy because they have become more accessible for all type of audience. People usually try to imitate of adopt a new behaviors and that is why director are using movies as a way of not only presenting but critizazing social problems and making a statement. the industry is showing themes like bullying poverty racism and politics such as blackkklansman movie who slips seamlessly from an absurdist humor to horror conjuring an urgent blend of sociopolitical period satire and contemporary wake-up call. This is important because evocation is the key to unlocking a subject. Things that where taboos in the 60’s and 70’s have become more ” normal to the society” thats is why showing sex, murder or even past history scenes that still hurt people dosent have the same response in the public that it did years ago. While not a lo of people care about the themes that are presented in movies, we as society should be more aware that the real reason movies are more audacious it is because people are not adhering to a certain set of principals.
