According to Readworks, “How Can I Help You”, bullying doesn’t just affect the bully and the one being bullied, it also affects those who witness the bullying.
One of the most common types of bullying at school is physical bullying. Physical bullying can be very destructive. It may involve fighting, spitting on an individual, or maybe even being pushed. In this situation, the bully wants to control. In a very famous story called “Wonder”, a kid named Auggie, or August, was bullied when he first went to school because of his deformity. This is an example of kids getting bullied because of what they look like, this was verbal abuse. Those who are bullied could end up with mental problems, injuries, and suicidal thoughts. Those who are bullied, struggle with low self-esteem.
Accordingto stopbullying.gov, bullying can also cause a person to have difficulty falling or staying asleep, headaches, dizziness and stomachaches. Bullying is never right, and it is never cool. Whenever you see someone being bullied or if you are being bullied, you should take steps to help end it. You should never bully back, but make the situation known to an adult. Never be alone with the bully, always go places with friends. If the bullying continues, continue to tell someone because bullying is wrong and wrong behavior is never right.
