A problem that I have discovered is that the wildlife in Singapore have been attacking humans. Some examples includes monkeys terrorizing people in their homes and wild boars charging and attacking humans.
As a result, this causes humans to live in fear, making it difficult for us to live harmoniously with animals. Recently, Dr Jane Goodall came to Singapore and talked about our conservation efforts. One issue that she raised up was on how we can reduce the conflict between humans and animals due to the animal attacks in Singapore. One way to reduce this conflict is to encourage people to stop feeding the long-tailed macaques or any other wild animals that they come across. This is because feeding the wildlife can result in them associating humans with food. Hence they will seek out humans in the long run in hopes of getting food. Some reasons why these animals come to our houses and urban areas is due to many reasons. Firstly, It is a consequence of Singapore’s garden drive
