Water Disinfection Methods:
Is the most an important step to disinfection water to ensure the water safe for drink. Water disinfection systems add disinfectants to destroy microorganisms that can cause disease in humans. Public water disinfection systems require the surface water treatment rule to disinfect water obtained from surface water supplies or groundwater sources under the influence of surface water.

Chlorination, chloramines, ozone, and ultraviolet light are the primary methods of water disinfection. Chlorine dioxide, potassium permanganate, and nano-filtration are the other disinfection methods. Chlorine react with organic material naturally certain form to the present in many water sources to form harmful chemical by-products. The U.S Environmental Protection Agency has proposed maximum levels for these contaminants.

Why need disinfect drinking water?
Kills or inactivates disease-causing organisms in a water supply by the disinfection & must provide a 99.9 percent inactivation of Giardia lamblia cysts and enteric viruses to protect health and to comply with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations.
Primary & Secondary method of water disinfection. Desired the level of microorganism kill or inactivation by the primary disinfection methods. Disinfectant residual in the finished water that prevents the regrowth of microorganisms by the secondary disinfection method.

Government Regulation for Disinfection:
Public water supplies from either surface water or groundwater under the direct influence of surface water to disinfect the require system to the EPA Surface Water Treatment Rule (SWTR).

Also, since some disinfectants produce chemical by-products, the dual objective of disinfection is to provide the required level of organism destruction and remain within the maximum contaminant level (MCL) for the SWTR disinfection set by EPA. At this time, an MCL is set for only Total Trihalomethanes, and proposed for additional disinfection byproducts.

There are many sciences in our natural environment. This is most of the time, however, no worries, some gyarias and various viruses, which can be present in water supply – can be very harmful and cause disease among humans. This pathogens is known as the organisms that cause disease.

Pathogens is the disease causing organism & it is harmful of the human life. Since germs can appear in water supply water, the germ is very important – the epoxy needs to be under the influence of surface water and underground water surface. Pesticides treatment methods include chlorine, chlorine dioxide, chloramines, ozone, and ultraviolet light
When combined with conventional treatments, such as depositing, flocculation, sedimentation, and filtration, have been obtained better results. Direct filtration such as; Slow sand filtration, and diatomaceous earth filtration, have been just as successful, along with sterilization.

Microbial systems can be sterilized if there is iron and manganese in the water. In fact, when these systems are added to chlorine, chlorine dioxide, or ozone, lax oxide is added. Both ozonizing and chlorination can cause flocculation of dissolved organics, thus requiring increased turbidity and filtration. An index of sterilization is judged by an analysis for animals/total coliform bacteria. This creature is considered innocent, but its presence indicates that diseases can also survive.
