1.1 PROBLEM STATEMENT: We all adore hill station because of their weather conditions and nature.
Have we ever thought of the accidents happen when we drive uphill? Major accidents happen because of the braking system. In uphill during the traffic our vehicle is in idle condition. The moment vehicles are moving, we tend to release the brake and move forward. But unfortunately, before acceleration, the vehicle moves back due to the inclination of the road.
This causes crash with the vehicle behind. To avoid such problems, we must improve the braking system such that the vehicle does not roll back in the slope even when the brake is released. The mechanism has been developed to stop the vehicle from rolling back word when the vehicle is moving in the hill roads. This construction made of two phases in a first deigns of ratchet and pawl mechanism, frame, shaft, etc. is done and in second sensor selection and interference is done. Ratchet and pawl mechanism has been fabricated and assembly with sensor interface is tested.?1.
2 FIELD OF THE PROJECT: AUTOMOTIVE ELECTRONICS Automotive is the study relating to or concerned with motor vehicles. Automotive electronics is the electronic systems used in the motor vehicles, including engine management, radio, carputers, telematics, in-car entertainment systems and others. Ignition, engine, and transmission electronics are also found in trucks, motorcycles, off-road vehicles, and other internal combustion-powered machinery such as forklifts, tractors, and excavators. Related elements for control of relevant electrical systems are found on hybrid vehicles and electric cars as well.
Automotive electronics are specially designed electronics intended for use in automobiles. Automotive electronics can be subjected to, and therefore rated at, more extreme temperature ranges than commercial electronics.
